Automatic manual window

Does anyone know what governs the window rollers.

I may have been a little liberal with the grease.

thanks

It shouldn't do that no matter how much grease you have on there. It sounds like the regulator must have issues.

Does the window crank turn as the window going down?  I believe there is a spring that is supposed to provide some counterforce to the weight of the glass - might be something to check.

Yes, the window crank spins when it travels down.
I noticed the crank shaft is a little wobbly. It feels like it's riveted.

I updated my comment with a note about the spring - just a guess, but maybe the spring has broken or become loose?

counterbalance spring must be broken or detached. Be careful btw, that spring can be nasty to your fingers as in scissors if your finger gets in the wrong place
