64 Parisienne grills?

I know I'm the dumb one here but are 64 Custom Sport grills a stand alone item?? I see that they look like 63 grills but not quite. As I surf around I notice all kinds of ads with all kinds of conflicting descriptions and pics regarding "Custom Sport" in 1964. I am referring to Canadian models....For some reason I never noticed. Too focused elsewhere I guess...

Yes indeed, Otus. The '64 Custom Sport grilles are unique to this one year only car. The lesser models including the Strato Chief, Laurentian, and Parisienne shared the same grilles. The black grille was used on the CS. Here are two pictures of my CS. The first one has the plain grilles before I found a set of CS grilles. The second picture shows my CS grilles.  Of course I am biased but I truly believe the CS grilles are nicer looking and, as you suggest, do remind me of the '63 grilles. One has to be careful though. I have seen a number of cases where individuals have put '64 Grand Prix grilles in a '64 CS. The Grand Prix has the signal lights in the grille, not in the bumper as do the Canadian models.

The 64 custom sport also uses a different headlight bezel than all other models

Yep, 2 piece and painted eyebrow (not all chrome/one piece).

So I learned something new even this rainy tuesday My 64 CS has correct grill and headlight bezels. I thought it wa strange that they were painted instead of chrome.
