ABC123 generosity

Another positive transaction with Randy on some parts heading east. One of those keep the change again. Thanks so much. It truly is a pleasure sending parts to our members here.

Well, that fiberglass nose cone was a disaster.

It needs the original framework for securing.

There was no way it would work properly without removing most of the original nose material.

As noted by other members, the US Bonneville nose stuff just falls off and the Canadian material is more ridged.

This really put me in a tight spot, late in the restoration.

I want to thank Jerl for his help, understanding and patience !

There are other members who were interested in the nose cone.

Thank you to those members for their understanding as well.

A lot of members have helped me build this car,

This is a true Canadian Poncho car.

Thank you to all.

We see a lot of people helping others here.

Thank you to every one who is here to help !

Another good ending. I should maybe tell the whole story as it goes back to the title of this thread and Randys generosity.
So I send the nose cone out to him and when he asked how much I needed for it I said something like this Just pay me what its worth to you and give yourself a good deal as I dont have to get rich from this. So then comes the etransfer with a crazy high amount 2-3 times what he had told me in the fall that they sell for and a nice little comment with it saying I hope youre happy with that. I replied back that I wasnt happy with that amount because it was too much. So glad to say he knocked a $100 off and sent a new transfer and all is well but I appreciate where his heart is coming from.
We sure have a good bunch on this forum as for most parcels they have already been sent when I tell them the shipping cost cause then its exact and Ive never been stiffed.
Thanks again Randy, its been fun haggling with you.
