Cool, thanks. I'm pretty excited to get out cruising soon.
I consider myself lucky to have this old ride featured on this super friendly cool car site...
Just getting around to commenting. I must say that I LOVE your sedan delivery. No flashy graphics or tricks. Simple but effective. It is wonderful to see the few emblems & details that they came with, all present and accounted for. Your S.D. is tasteful with a great choice in rolling stock. If it were mine I don't think I would have changed a thing. Congrats on making Ride of the Month.
BTW, my father-in-law gave me his 1977 Oldsmobile 98 Regency sedan back in the late eighties. It was very comfortable and spacious, but having north of 200+k miles on it I was at a crossroads as to how much to put into it. I replaced the trans as somebody had overfilled it and it caused a bunch of clutch packs to burn up. The 403 was thirsty in town in spite of 2.41s out back and the $50 fill-ups were not fun. It would be a $200 fill-up now. He's still my father-in-law as it has been 33 years for my wife and I so far.

I have to say thank you for your comment. The flashiest graphic on my sedan now is my new Canadian poncho decal. It actually looks really good on my driver's side window vent. I'm pretty excited that I had the opportunity to have it on the featured page. My father in law always new how rare and different this really was. I'll always be so thankful to him. I'm nervous on what I should and shouldn't do on it, I'd like to mabey put some aluminum value covers and a different air cleaner on. I'd never change the egxust manifolds. So I'm not going to change much on this old girl. Mabey a different ignition system? Not sure on that either. Do you still have the 77 Oldsmobile? Congratulations on the long time relationship with your wife. Ive seen a ton of people I know who are not together anymore. What really sucks is it's still minus 20 at night, and the roads still aren't ready for my ride. Stay healthy and happy..
As much as I enjoy the new car every month, I'm in no hurry for your car to disappear from the top of the page at the end of the month!
Maybe I could paint it flat black and start a new name and profile, take some pics and see if I can get it featured again... thanks for the positive feed back on my ride. The more time I spend on the site the deeper I dig the more I find cool rides awesome pictures and a ton of knowledge on here. Glad to be apart of it.. and thank you...
Hello all. I just wanted to say thank you very much for putting my car up on the featured page. It was a nice way to be welcomed on your site. Every day it gets closer to spring, that means it's getting closer to cruising time up in the Yukon. I'll post some pictures once the old girl gets out of the garage and on to the dry pavement. Cheers and happy cruising!!!!
It is not very often that we see 1950's and older Poncho's on C.P. So when we do it is an exceptional pleasure, it is for me anyway. Take care of that rare baby of yours. Cheers.

Yes thanks George, I will definitely take care of my ride. I'm curious what's coming up for next month now. I think I'm addicted, and that's a good thing!!

Eddy, I've been an addict here since 2008, it's never been an issue.............well, other than a couple of times when the server went down and we had no Canadian Poncho.......

It's been great seeing it here!
I looked at a Pontiac Sedan Delivery that was for sale on PEI years ago. Loved looking at it and almost bought it (so close). They are beautiful-looking to me.
I'll try to find pictures of it by a "search" of my postings on this site.

I'll echo the thanks for sharing your ride and story. Love the car and hope you have a great summer driving around the Yukon
Eddy, i have been meaning to ask you about the dual PCV valves. You need a breather on the opposite, meaning the passenger side. Your present setup has too much PCV action and no fresh air intake action. Do you have a hidden fresh air supply to your crankcase that can not be seen in the pictures. No criticism here, it is just that an engine needs fresh filtered air going in the crankcase to aid in the crankcase ventilation process. Cheers.
Holy just rolled over your comment this morning, no there is no hidden breathing anything... thank you on this, I've over looked this a bunch of times ... thank you!!!!!! It will be fixed asap.. I owe you one...
