Just wondering what your thoughts were on mabey lifting the back end up a little on my Pontiac? Doe's anyone have any experience in doing this? If so what would be the best way about doing this.

Perhaps the trick is to search "1955 Chevrolet". I never search with Pontiac because you will get the wrong stuff from US sites and suppliers, at least wrong for a Canadian Pontiacs.
Your totally right. I just think sometimes chevy doesn't fit Pontiac sedan stuff. I found the shackles on that site I measured mine and they are an exact match. Just can't find any that will give me a little lift. I'll keep poking around.. thanks again..
This is all good advice. I like the ad a leaf idea. Or arced them, I know the springs aren't broken. It sit stock like it should, I'm thin I'd like to have it sitting pretty just a tad higher. I wasn't thinking properly cause the leafs sit under
the diff, thought if I added one or put a block in that it would
actually lower it. I'm used to springs sitting on top. Thanks for all the input gentlemen...
You could fabricate your own shackles. 1/4" x 2" flat bar. Pre-drill the holes and then shape the shackle using a bench vice and a large hammer. or use a shackle kit and bend the shackles to match the offset of the factory ones. If you use a kit or make your own you can play with the height by adding holes. I hope that makes sense.
