Champion Air Compressor 5 Gallon Oil Style 15 Amp

I got this compressor second hand to take to the cabin. Checked it all over at home, works like a champ, cuts out at 125lbs like it should. Took it to the cabin, plugged it in and my little Honda generator pretty much stalls when I turn it on, it's way too much load. It can start it but barely. So I guess it's for sale.....

I can't find anything like it online. Best I can figure a new one like this would be $250-$300 but you can gladly prove me wrong. It looks to be in pretty nice shape. When I got it I installed a new coupler on it, so it's never been used. The one problem I see with it and I never noticed until I was taking pictures, part of the plastic shield is broken off, gone. I don't really see how that will affect anything.

I am thinking this one must be worth around $90 but again, call me nuts if you like!

Whoops, forgot one important thing! Located 35 minutes south of Winnipeg, free delivery to the south end of the city depending on my schedule.

Yeah I've found using a few of these little compressors that there is quite a difference in draw between them, also noise level and price.

This one is loud but not as loud as the oiless unit I bought that takes less amps so my little Honda can fire it up. Seems like the cheapest units are the loudest.

You could keep it and buy a beefier generator!

Great to use as an "air pig", that's what I use mine for.

I'll likely be in next week, I can drop by with it and you can road test it!
