1965 Pontiac Parisienne hood hinges? other body parts, exterior and interior?

Hi, I am trying to find some parts for my 1965 Pontiac Parisienne.  Any assistance for junk yard/resellers of parts would be greatly appreciated.  I am in St. Louis, Missouri.

I need a driver's side hood hinge for sure.  Any ideas?

Thanks,

 Chris

Hello Chris,

Welcome to the site.

Don't know for sure, but a lot of parts such as hinges may be the same as the same year of Chevys.

GM Pontiacs made in Canada are a cross between Chevrolets and Pontiac on the mechanical side and

lots of underline support parts for the body are the same.........but again some of the American Pontiac body parts are wider and and different.

Lots of knowledge here on the site ,you'll get your answer for sure.

The US models do differ in their body panels, but I'm fairly certain the doors are the same as well as the hinges. These pop up on e-pay occasionally, may find some there.

This is posted in the wrong forum, not sure if someone will move it to the 65 forum?

The body bits on Canadian Pontiac can be unique to them or shared with some us models like say a Catalina. The mechanical bits are pretty much 100% Chevy. I think the hood on a 65 Pontiac is longer than on a Chevy therefore the hinges are different Id guess. But Im not a 65 guy.

Are you missing a hinge or does it need fixing? There is a real good hinge guy in the us, willy somebody, he does excellent work. The reproduction Chevy hinges are widely recognized as junk BTW.

Sorry for the wrong forum post.  I do see that now.  I am needing either a new driver side hinge or a repaired one as the hood was accidentally closed with a tool still in there.  It bent the existing hinge a bit.

I'm not sure if they are the same (I doubt it), but I have some from a '64 Parisienne.
