I bought this car last fall and thought I would share a couple pics of what it looked like when I got it. Comments of all kinds are welcome.

Nice car except a bit on the plain side. You need to add some accessories.

Yes Armstrong built 283 with Holley street avenger. Alan Armstrong is a world renowned engine builder located in Nova Scotia. Has a turbo 350 and 10 bolt with 5 lug axles. Very good donor car.

Nice! Good score.

I'm looking at those antennas. Are those jobber antennas? They almost look like correct 66 Chevy (US model) antennas).

Mopar scoops?

Is it the Nova style front sump oil pan setup?

Not sure about the antennae. The scoops appear molar. Has correct oil pan and manifolds. Here is a.link to an article on a&j automotive www.thechronicleherald.ca/lifestyles/regional-lifestyles/annapolis-valley-brothers-known-for-championship-winning-engines-419193/

I have removed many of the accessories. Still a long way to go. The hood actually had tubes going from the scoops to the air cleaner. I guess the power sunroof will be staying.

Those Dodge scoops might be worth something - check the market before throwing them out.

I have never actually researched them, but I believe the Dart 340 scoops are slightly smaller than the Super Bee units.  Repro units are over $400 US... https://www.yearone.com/Product/chrysler-b-body/ff672set

Funny thing, I remember seeing that car in Digby during the summer of 2019 when we were in the area for a few days.  You don't forget seeing something like that... wink

There is a fellow in Mahone Bay Area with a Toyota echo trimmed up like that. It has hood scoops too and a horse and sulkie.

People have different tastes in their vehicles. Usually at a cruise night you will see a couple of personalized vehicles. Personally I dont care how someone builds their dream car as long as its safe. I have seen some pretty scary rat rods.

scoops are super bee and also demon  yes worth money.

i thought it could still be salvaged with all the parts removed,  but the sunroof kills it.  might as well part it all out and crush the shell.

Front fenders rusty above headlights and bottom corners,A pillars probably rusty under the bonds and along passenger roof has rust . The underside is very good no rot in floors rails or trunk. Not sure what is behind the quarter panel trim but looks solid.

Thats amazing that its not very rusty. My brother scrapped a 1962 Acadian in 1979 because it had severe rust.
