WTB: In Need Of A Few Muscle Car Magazines (Late 60's Early 70's)

Hi There

I'm needing to find / purchase a few (like 3 or 4) muscle car magazines, late 60's early 70's era. GM ish.

They are for a high school friend/buddy that I lost contact with over the last 3yrs due to our location's. I'd call his cell, but he'd never answer?

Just found his sister on a High School Face Book Group to find out he had a stroke and is living in a long term health care facility in Niagara.

Me and some other old friends want to send him some kind of care package, thus the need of some old magazines.

I remember growing up he had a really nice 70 Malibu hard top. So he is somewhat of a GM guy.

I've ordered and am waiting for a 70 Malibu sales brochure off of eBay to add to this care package.

We are planning to visit him in the near future as Covid restrictions are lifted.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated, I'm located in Varney Ontario.

Thanks

Frank

Hey Frank. I have a stash of Motor Trend magazines from the late 60s into the 70s. I am in Burlington, which is on your way to Niagara. Swing by and have a look. Take what you want and brighten up your buddy's day. John

Hi John
Thanks for getting back to me, the issue is we or more like me are going to send him some sort of care package first.
I need to contact the facility he's in to see if and when and how we can even visit him, plus arrange with some of the others that might want to go.
It's been difficult already to try to organize this. But we will see...
I'm okay with paying for a few magazines and the postage also...
Thank You
Frank

Hi There.
This request has been filled, no other magazines are required. I need to say a special thanks to 1961ragtop (John) for going out of his way on a strange request to help me and my friends to make this happen...
Respectfully
Frank

1961ragtop aka John did not want any compensation for his help on getting me some old magazines. He did ask for me to donate something to Canadian Poncho Site for the shipping expenses, etc... So on his behalf I have put in a $50 donation... Thanks so much John...

Hi John  "1961ragtop"

I've attached a pic of the surprise gift for our buddy Kent.
Now just waiting for a few words via email from friends to add.
A card, etc....  Hoping to get it shipped out by Friday...
Also found out from his sister Kent's birthday is coming up
on July 24th.
In and around that time is when we are planning to head down to Niagara on the Lake to visit him...
We will stay over, too much driving, plus the girls have found out it's a great place to shop and drink wine,,, Sounds expensive...
Thanks Again John, the vintage books I feel make the gift so special...
I'll send you a photo of the visit as well.
I Really appreciate your help.

Frank B
