Cleaned up, some TLC and it looks like you'd have a very nice daily drivable 66.

All I keep thinking as I look at this car is how much fun it would be to buy this car, oil the crap out of it a few times a year and drive it all year round like Beaumontguru does with his 67 Beaumont sedan. That would be SO much fun to drive a 66 every day of the year.

I predict it'll be gone in two days. If it were here I'd absolutely grab it myself if it were decent underneath.

At a glance, it looks like it just needs a little bit of what went on with the 65.

Is it missing the rear WW trim? Maybe a skirt car?

Did Laurentians come with skirts? I had always thought that was Parisienne and Grande Parisienne only.

I've been in contact with the owner of this 66,

The motor is original, frame is good, and no rot in the floors.  Man...I wish it were down here. I need a TLC type project.

Now, to most, it might be a little bit of a undesirable car, but for someone trying to break in with a simple car, this would absolutely be it. You can't buy a pile of junk down here for five grand.

I wish you hadn't asked him...cry  And worse yet, I wish his answer would have been "it's rusty"......no

Big block (or small block) and 4-speed sounds like a plan!  Do it!

FWIW, if you want to turn it into a rat rod with fake patina, or a donk, or drop it on a 4X4 chassis, even chop 3 feet out of the middle to make it a shorty... or anything else like that, it's none of my business anyhow - it's your money and your time and your car (if you buy it)... demo derby it if you want.  Or make a video of you chopping it up in little pieces just to bother us... none of my business, it would be your car to do what you want with it.

Doesn't mean I won't razz you about it, though... and I would. biggrin

I wonder if it's a 12 bolt. Lots of the 66's were.
