COLLECTIBLE AUTOMOBILE BEAUMONT ARTICLE HELP WANTED

I have an assignment to write an article about the Chevelle-based 1964-1965 Acadian Beaumont and 1966-1969 Beaumont models for COLLECTIBLE AUTOMOBILE magazine. The article will be about 3,100 words and is well under way. I have purchased factory sales literature for the 1964, 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1969 models.

I am looking for help with any of the following content that would add to the story:

1- A list of 1964-1969 Beaumont models and prices, possibly from a source similar to the NADA, Blue Book and Red Book used car guides published for U.S. cars.

2- Production figures for 1964-1969 Beaumonts that are verified and available for "free use" in such an article. I will be happy to list sources of this information to attract customers or enthusiasts to them.

3- An expert who could proofread the finished story before I submit it for publication. Credit will be given.

4- Any information about erroneous facts that made it into the Beaumont sales catalogs.

5- Any scans of the 1965 Acadian Beaumont sales catalog.

6- Any advice or suggestions.

The article is due on April 27 but I hope to have it done earlier than that.

Well past due that our unique Canadian Pontiacs are gaining attention from this magazine. I'm so glad to hear of this. CA the best magazine out there. I have every issue since it started in 1983.

I thought it was 1984. I still recall the first issue with a cool red BMW sporting an Alberta license plate of all things.

 Yup, you're right Ken.

First issue was May 1984.

I too collect them, and have almost all of the magazines...........missing just a few.

Best magazine for cars and information out there

Nice convertible. I am not supplying the photos for the article -- only the writing. That is the way they work.
