There's a guy showed up on a Facebook site for Canadian Pontiacs who is in the UK. He has a major project but what a cool car. 67 Parisienne convert, factory built (Oshawa) right hand drive, power windows.

Hi Carl, Oshawa built cars should have a 1965 Chevrolet right hand drive dashboard. It would be nice to see pictures to pick out what else may be different.
I didnt know about the heater. I thought it would probably have been a mirror image of the 1965 Chevrolet heater assembly. I wonder if GM Canada sourced it from an aftermarket supplier?
During my career as a mechanic I have seen several pieces of industrial equipment with similar heaters. Street sweepers and other equipment with purpose built cabs. Most stuff now is built on modified production vehicles, probably because of safety standards and lower costs. I am thinking from the picture the heater parts were probably sourced from an outside supplier.
I always assumed our heater matrix was a Lucas UK dealer fitted unit. The assumption was based on the fact that it's so damn small and looks as if it was sourced from a tiny UK four banger parts bin. It is barely felt on my left foot (remember that's the one nearest the middle of the car for us) and is useless when the temperature drops below 10 degrees Fahrenheit. It cannot even keep the windscreen clear when it's below zero and I think there's a bigger fan in my lap top!

Is it anything like the one in the picture on the 67?

That is different to the aussie heater. Ours is like the one from the manual. impossible to get the hose bends...
