Update: Price reduced, asking $39,500. Contact me if interested. Thanks
After nearly 20 years of ownership, I have decided to sell my original, rust free 427 cubic inch 1969 Pontiac Parisienne 2 door hardtop. In case a member here is interested, I have decided to post it exclusively on this site for a time before going to other venues. The car is Dover White outside with a dark green cloth and vinyl bench seat interior that is near mint with only one minor wear point. It shows only 35,000 original miles and based on its condition I am certain it was never winter driven. As a result, it is totally rust free throughout and has no body damage. All chrome and trim are near perfect.
The car was originally purchased in Quebec and delivered with the following options as detailed in the GM Canada documentation:
· Numbers matching 427 cubic inch LS1 big block V8, with four-barrel carb and optional N10 dual exhaust; rated at 335 HP in single exhaust form, this engine was a one year only option in 1969 full sized Canadian Pontiacs and all 1969 full sized Chevrolets.
· Tilt steering column with sport steering wheel similar to GTO and Firebird
· Comfortron automatic air conditioning (very rare in any Canadian Pontiac)
· Power: Steering, Brakes, Windows, Seat, trunk release and vacuum door locks
· Lighting group including map light in the rear-view mirror (1st year available)
· Tinted windshield
· AM radio with rear deck antenna
· Remote drivers side mirror
· Rear window defogger
·
Options added for performance and convenience by previous or current owners:
Posi traction rear differential with 3.42 ratio gears
· Correct 69-70 OEM single piston power front disc brakes
· Correct larger diameter front and rear F41 sport suspension anti sway bars
· Upgraded springs and shocks
· Soft ray tinted rear windshield, side, and door glass
· Matching passenger side door mirror
· Halogen headlights
· Front grille from a 69 Bonneville or Grand Parisienne, installed because it looks better; however, the original is in excellent condition and can go with the car.
Be Because the car originally had drum brakes in front it was delivered with 14-inch steel wheels. However, these were not with the car when purchased, and the disc brakes require 15-inch wheels. The car is now fitted with four new Hankook tires mounted on refinished 15 by 7 inch Pontiac Rally II steel wheels. I do not have a matching spare rim of the same quality as the four mounted rims.
en When the disc brakes were installed, all of the brake system was renewed from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinders, calipers, hoses, shoes, pads, and rotors. The car also has a new water pump.
The urethane nose in the center of the grill is prone to cracking in the surface on these cars, and this one was no exception. However, it has been replaced by an excellent crack-free used original piece.
This Pontiac is a mint original vehicle in excellent cosmetic and working condition; drives and handles very well; is completely rust free; and shows no signs of ever being driven in Canadian winters.
Asking Price: $42,500 CAD for a rare piece of pure Canadian big block automotive history. As many know, these unique big block B body Canadian Pontiacs ceased production in 1970.
If you are interested in the car, please message me through the site and I will send you contact information, as well as answer any questions you may have.
Thank you.

Wow what a car, I have looked for a 427 Pontiac for years now, so go figure last Monday I closed a deal in Bluffton AB on a 1969 Impala Custom Coupe 427. I said to my wife, betcha there will be a 427 Pontiac up for sale, now that I compromised and went to a Chevy. Oh my my..
Beautiful car John, great pictures. Good luck with the sale.

I had not submitted it before because the nose was cracked. It got steadily worse over the years but I had an excellent used one on hand that I purchased a few years ago from member cdnpont. That's the one on the car now.
I would prefer to sell it outright, but I am open to certain trades up or down if the car is in equivalent condition to mine and is something I'm looking for.
Specifically:
- 1961 Pontiac Catalina/Ventura or Parisienne 2 door bubbletop ht
- 1962 Pontiac Catalina /Ventura 2 door ht or 2 door post sedan
- 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix 2 door ht

- 1967 - 70 Pontiac Bonneville or Executive Safari wagon with 400/428/455

I had a 63 Catalina from California that I sold a few years back.
Today I'm interested in 61-62 Pontiacs, and 67 Chevy Caprice or Bel Air 2 door cars.
