1969 Pontiac Grande Parisienne

This is an identical twin to my Grandfather's (and eventually mine) Car.

I can't have them all biggrin

Wonder if it was optioned without the vinyl roof ?

I have never seen "Grande Parisienne" fender emblems on a 1969

Sharp looking car. It may have never had a vinyl roof, that might just be a paint divider. My 70 Parisienne is the same way.

Yeah, I must apologize for my gut reaction.  I'm still experiencing sticker shock over the "market adjustment" that has happened in the past couple of years.  3 years ago this probably would have been a $15,000 car, and the '61 convertible would probably have been $25,000, now reduced to "only" $48,000.  biggrin

I had a farmer ogling at my truck at work and I jokingly said "Give me $15500 and I'll even get in inspected" and he said "Don't tempt me". lol
I should have said $18500

Yes it is ouch, also.  Even though a steel 33 3-window is like the hot rodders' holy grail, it's still just a project.

The hobby has gone nuts.  Luckily there are still deals out there if you look (and are lucky).  Neither of these two are that.

This one did not have a vinyl roof. It has option D99, which is the moulding between the two tone paint. I guess whoever ordered it wanted the two colours to be the same. The Grande Parisienne script was behind the quarter window if the vinyl top was chosen. If no vinyl top, then the script went on the fender.
