New member of the family

Hi CP Gang,

As I noted, I regrettably put 'Frosty' (my 69 Beaumont) up for sale as my bucket list car became available in a price range I never felt I would see.  In a perfect world I would have kept both, but only have a double garage now so just not enough room.  Anyway hope being an early GM car and being sold in Canada still qualifies me to hang around here smile.   It's a 1969 Camaro SS 'survivor', 60K original miles, numbers matching drivetrain with an L48 350, auto and has a few neat options like tilt, full gauges including in the console and front and back bumper guards.  Previous owner had for 23 years, it was originally solid at Vickar Motors in Melfort SK per the VVS package I received already.  Her name is 'Kelly', since she's green we needed an Irish name, according to my son wink

Very nice!

Whenever I see this Gen of Camaro, it always strikes me obviously why it was a hit at the time. What young guy wouldn't lust for one back then? They still do, but they've just aged a wee bit!

And I think a performance 350 is 100% the right motor for that body.

This goes for you and that other guy who just shipped out every shred of Canadian Poncho that he had.

Stick around, we need your experience and advice.

Nice car,

Thanks for the nice comments everyone, Ill definitely be hanging around here still. Lots of the technical conversations and suggestions apply directly to Kelly as well. I may be putting up for sale some of the hard to find 69 Beaumont parts Ive acquired over the last couple years, but on the other hand Im not convinced Ill never have another one LOL.

A "collector" in Parkview hills??  Across the Woodbine bridge and turn left at the second street? Well, you have to start a collection with one car I guess....LOL
