How many yards?

Im debating on buying the hides to re-upolster my complete interior
and was woundering around how many yds to buy.Has anyone done this?
Im talking with extra for arm rests, sunvisors and dash panel also.
Any help is appreciated.I cant find any company that will do the original upholstery
in a custom color for a 67.

I would use SMS Auto Fabrics in Oregon.

You can purchase period correct fabric from them.

I had them make seats covers and door panels for my 1964 Beaumont SD. They were very slow and expensive...... but in the end they did a great job.

But from a cost perspective, if you don't need any embossing done..... purchasing the fabric and going to a good upholster in Canada to get your seat covers made is probably the most economical.

The number of yards would depend on what car you are doing.

I remember once looking into it for the 67 Grande. If I remember correctly, the front bench, including the back would have needed approx. 6 yards.

The rear 3.

But this would have been two different cloth patterns, and one vinyl. so it would have probably been a couple more overall, with a lot going to waste.
