Still waiting to hear Jim Morrison's contribution to the rain-themed show!

And Supertramp...

I was going to play Riders on the storm but it's just too creepy. For another show, the creepy one. Supertramp? refresh my memory on that one.

Made it to Manning Alberta after a very quick comfy 6 hour ride in a 1994 Impala SS. What a great road car! (once it warms up)

You're going to have that SS worn out in no time...

My phone alarm just reminded me of this.

I think Ken said it would be a re-run. I'm just hoping it will be one that I missed!

Maybe I'll listen myself as we are not flying now.  Not sure if I should.... Could really turn me off once I actually hear myself.

So far it's not you on the air, we just had ABBA Winner Takes It All but now it's French again.

Looks like in the absence of old Dr Johnny Geezer they tossed him to the curb.

Maybe you should just do a weekly podcast with the same format and post it on Spotify. I'd listen!

That is something to think about for sure. Wouldn't tie me to that station or place. Hmmm.

Agreed. There's gonna be a problem if Ken isn't back on the air pretty darn soon...

I think we are S O L again by the sound of it. Typical drug dealer, gets you hooked on his product and then jerks you around....

We had a bit of a break last week but they were up and running today in pretty high winds. Pretty bouncy out there over the fires.

We've been dealing with brutal winds here too and high temps. Thankfully it's wide open prairie for the most part so fires really don't/can't happen. Hoping you guys get a break soon.

Ken may be flying across Canada to put out fires, I drove home from Ottawa yesterday, Ontario, Quebec, NB, and NS all hot, dry, and windy. One spark in the wrong place is all it takes.

Alright guys  the show is back on tonight! 1800 Alberta time on Boreal FM.  This time finishing my music trip across the country ending again in Manitoba.   I'm starting in Nunavut and sashaying across the territories and down through BC to the prairies. Should be some fun stuff!

After this its back to firefighting so not sure about the next couple of weeks.  I'll keep ya posted!

Hope you like!

Our local cbc weekend show plays a very eclectic mix on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Sometimes theyd do a theme weekend, one time nothing but bagpipes for both shows.

I wouldnt recommend that but maybe something of a rain dance show?
