Hey guys i am actually looking for suggestions for a future show that I'm going to call "Guilty Pleasures-Songs you like but are ashamed to tell anyone."
You know, really corny but catchy songs. A couple that come to mind are "The Last Farewell by Roger Whittaker or A Man Without Love by Englebert Humperdick.
So you know guys, there will be new show tonight! (If you can call the recycled old stuff I dredge up "New".) It will be a little about Canada Day (a bit weak and late) and quite a bit about summer celebrations. Hope you tune in!
I've also been working on rerecording some of the old shows so they can be used while I'm not around so those of you who missed can get them at last.
Probably will be off the new stuff for a few weeks after this as I have one more fire fighting shift to do from the 10th through the 26th of this month.
Yeah it may really come home to us as we are planning to walk through Montreaux this summer. I used to play it all the time and you know it still sounds good with that wicked riff!
Sorry guys had to drive to High Level for fire duty. 800 kms in a 1988 Westfalia with a temp light that kept coming on for no apparent reason. Made for a long hot day as I figured I'd better run the heater full blast to help it from actually overheating. Seemed to help the engine but didn't do much for me. 13 hours with stops. Had to take the Westy as rooms up here are very hard to find due to fire evacuations so i figured I'd better bring my own in case.
Did manage to find a room for the night though so all good.
I will be away until the 26th so no shows until the 31st.

Sorry guys, busy with these guys on fires up here near Wood Buffalo Park. That bucket holds 1000 gallons per drop on a 200 foot long line so we are usually welcome on any fire with these two Sikorsky S61's. Pilot and I are in the A-star bird dogging them and doing any useful things around the fires. Fun stuff. Rained a bit today for the first time in a long time so bit of a rest.

You should never have posted that Muppet picture years ago Ken, it comes to my head now every time you post your picture!
