Wrong parts... OPG and Classic... Read BEFORE you order

So read the post in 65-70 chassis forum on speed bleeders to start......

The op kind of got hijacked so lets put it on the table here...

The problems I have had ( along with other site members) with Classic Ind in California. I was reading a posting on another website on 63-65 Rivieras about what they had experienced with OPG (Original part group)

Both companies are a PITA to order from, their personnel are not trained ( not car people) just someone hired with computer skills (or lack of).  They charge a premium to ship and a high percentage of their product is off shore (some with country of origin removed)

So if you don't know the specific part# or sku, they won't be much help

Summit and Jegs are first class, usually no charge shipping even to Canada.. Hubbards Impala parts very knowledgible personnel

Putting it out there for members to see... to help you decide.   BUYER BEWARE

I've never had a problem with Classic Industries, but I pay close attention to their catalogs & website and know what I want before I place an order. Their shipping rates are reasonable and as they ship so much by UPS, savings are passed on to the end customer by UPS.
I've also bought a number of things at their Huntington Beach store, never a problem.

I dont get over to this site very often and havent commented for a few months but I do want to stand up for OPG. They have me registered as a Beaumont owner even though they have no specific parts for them. Ive dealt with them multiple times over the last 15 years and they couldnt have been better to deal with. Very happy with their quality of parts including sill plates and wheel trims as examples. I live a couple hours away from them now during the winter and had considered driving over there to pick up parts this last winter. My order was over $300 and it was free shipping so I didnt bother. Shipping to Canada has always been reasonable with them and theyve never screwed up at all. Sorry when a company has been this good to me I have to back them up. Please be patient as they will come through. I tried getting a new brake booster last month but they still havent been able to get stock. 5+ Stars from me.
