Went for my yearly Cancer check up

Its been 8.5 years cancer free.  I had a melanoma on my forehead and had 12 radiation treatments.  All is good.

I went to my Dermatologist the next day because I had a growth on my left shoulder which was removed and sent out for analysis.  Came back as a form of skin cancer.  Will be getting the lump surgically removed.

Onward with old age.....

You know what they say, "Never complain about growing old. Many do not have the privilege."

My mom had a cancerous cyst removed in 1980 that was 15 lbs. We thought we were going to lose her, but the surgery was successful, and mom went on to reach 93 years, some 25 years later.

It is almost astonishing how much one's outlook on life can affect these sort of diseases. Not to burden anyone with guilt if they have cancer, but the psychological component is far more effectual than you may believe.

Good luck with the procedure, Cliff. And don't forget to use sunblock (do as I say, not as I do).
