I'd say pull the trigger...bought close to the same 15 years ago for the wifes truck (99) for close to the same price...(they still look mint)

I bought a set of GM rally wheels from this company in early 2021. They had the same COVID supply chain issues many companies suffered so wheels were backordered for a few months. Wheels were good quality and worked out just fine.

Got the order yesterday, fit perfect, the stainless won attract a magnet which most cheap stainless will lightly or more be attractive to a magnet. Took about an hour to install the bars.

I got my rack from the Tacoma installed too, plus finally a wheel alignment. The welding job was perfect on the new front piece, the alignment only out on the toe a bit. IMG_7011.jpeg

These are the cleats I put in the box to use as tiedowns, 4 small fixed in the

corners and 2 larger fold down cleats in the middle. IMG_7012.jpeg

So now that you're pretty much done, would you say it was worth the effort? Or did it end up being more work or more $$$ than you had planned for?

It was more work than I expected and more money, but at the end of the day, Im very happy. Being retired and having zero labour cost is a major plus, youd likely be in a big hole if you did this trying to sell it for a profit, parting it out would be very profitable with all the nice parts this thing had. Really had no major surprises other than breaking things and then replacing them. The engine, transmission, and rear end didnt need and work other than I did some maintenance items lie plugs, filters etc. It has way more power than the V6 Tacoma and Im thinking fuel economy will not be too far off from the
Tacoma.

I have no regrets as its such a nice truck. I really enjoyed the work and it kept me very busy through September to May, a nice time to be busy.

The truck looks great Don and with the way things are it will only go up in value.
