1969 Warning light package

I have asked this question before, maybe no one knows.

My 2+2 was optioned with the Warning light package.

However, it came with a common Instrument cluster.

Does anyone know what the cluster should look like?

This is the one on the 427 Parisienne.

Of all the 69/70 full size cars, this is the only one I have seen with the cut outs below the numbers.

I hope North (John) chimes in as he has a wide variety of clusters in his 1969 cars. I'm thinking the photo you posted is the one you're looking for.

I thought gparis7 (John) had posted the GM documentation for the 427 Parisienne but I guess he hadn't.

The ones you note on the right side of the cluster next to the odometer are functional warning lights. The closest one is a low fuel light. It's part of the W74 Warning light option with which this car is equipped. It also has the Z79 Auxilary lighting group and the UF1 map light in the rear view mirror, as well as underhood lamps.

 Thank You very much !

The 2+2 has the W-74 option as well.

So the original cluster is long gone.

Low fuel light is a good option to have in a car with a 427 !

That image is the correct warning light cluster. The rectangle under the 20 on the speedo is the seat belt light (it has a timer, comes on for a few seconds each time you start the car). The one under the 90-100 is lights (Iirc it comes on if the ignition is off and the door open while lights are on). The last one is low fuel.

Here is a pic of the original cluster on my 69 2+2 that was so equipped (It also has speed warning). Bear in mind if you are searching for a cluster you will need the unique circuit board, wiring harness as well as the timer.

Thank you !

My 2+2 had this option but the cluster appears to have been changed.

The wiring info explains my chopped-up wire harness.

I do have a nice regular harness from Mark, I will use a regular cluster.
