Rechargeable work light suggestions?

My old faithful light has suffered a hard life, dropped many times etc etc and looks like it finally had enough today. 

Any suggestions for a good LED rechargeable with a magnetic base?

I just found one in the style I like and it's on sale at CT but is 150 Lumen bright enough?

 It's fine.  It could always be brighter, but serves it's purpose.   I've got a couple of them.

I noticed it has a barrel type connector, my original one does, but the one I bought later (about 5 years ago) had a USB charger cord.

I have a couple of these. It's pretty much all I use now. The light goes where you look and they are extremely bright. They last quite a long time on a charge too

Princess Auto 1500 Lumen rechargeable.

Excellent quality and very bright (for our old eyes) and a magnetic base.

Bought two......last year....so far no complaints.

Yeah, the next one bigger than 427 is externally balanced and I don't want an externally balanced work light...

I bought 2 Canadian Tire lights today. Hope I like them.

Buy one that takes a rechargeable battery like Dewalt, Milwaukee, etc. When a rechargeable light dies, you have to wait for it to charge back up to use it again. I bought some rechargeable ones to replace the Dewalt 20V Max I have, but ended up going back to it because of being able to switch the battery and keep working. The rechargeable lights seemed to die at the absolute worst moment. They are very convenient when getting into hard to reach places, but like I said they die at the worst time. Usually when youre all contorted under a dash trying to get at that one bolt or nut that is almost out but then..light dies.

That's why I bought 2 of them. My thinking is, use one until it dies and while it's charging I'll use the other one.

So far I've been very happy with these. I don't think the battery lasts quite as long as my old light but it's still good and with 2 lights I have a backup.

Home Dept has a private brand Rigid

 

I bought a drill combo which included the 18 volt batterys. Later on I bought the impact drill with the battery pack.

I have 2 batterys left over from work one dated July 2013 and one dated Sept 11 01.   I put my own labels on to track usage and durability

 

  I would say the passed 11 and 23 years later. 

On occasion they get recharged and give a full charge each time. They got worked hard each day I worked taking only 20 to 30 minutes to recharge.

Now Home Depot offers a lifetime warranty on the tools and batterys. Just register the serial number and you are in.

 

Might be initially expensive but I have only bought one battery that was prior to the current warranty and it is still

in use.

 

 Keep your receipts

Rigid offers a rechargeable flashlight that is rated for 5 hours.

Online purchases only expensive but consider the Rigid Lifetime warranty

Google search it.
