Mystery jack (s) Pontiac?

I recently parted out a 66 Custom Sport. These were with the car. I thought maybe one of them would be the original to the car but I don't think so when I compare it with the jack that came with the Grande Parisienne.

The one with the wide tower has the base included, the other one is just the jack itself, no base.

$20 with the base? $10 without the base.

And if you can positively identify either by comparing your known original with my pictures, please do so.

Thanks.

I think the one with the base is full size GM cars from 1974? To 1976. I am not sure about 1973 because the rear bumper isnt the shock absorbing type in 73.

What year did they get rid of the jack hook/rest and start with the slot in the bumper? I'm thinking around 1973-74

That may well be the original 66 jack.
I seem to remember we discussed that 2 members had 2 different styles of 65 jacks and there were 2 listings in the parts book. One style was like mine below and the other was the hollow tube style as in your post.
For reference here's some pics of my original 65 jack.

Well that's interesting. I am missing the hook then. Strange, because there is a slot in the bumper that this jack (one of them) seems to fit, although not a great fit.

I'll have to pull the one out of my Strato Chief tomorrow. I'm pretty certain it will be original and I know it has no removeable hook. I'll have to see how it fits in the bumper slot.

I know my 1970 Pontiac jacks go into a slot in the bumper, whereas the 1970 Impala used a hook on the jack to go under the bumper. I grabbed a real nice jack out of a 73 Grand Prix lately, I'm pretty sure it's like the wide tower one in your photo's, complete with the base.
