Have to say it...is it any wonder why so many women hate our old cars and hobby. Let me see, stay home and celebrate my wife and mother of our children or skip off to a swap meet?

For years it was on Mother's day, then they changed it and now it seems we're in that rut again. And NOBODY is happy about it, everyone I hear talking about it is wondering why it has to be.

We have a Fathers Day show here, no shows on Mothers Day, likely related to weather more than anything else.

For some wives it might be a Mothers Day gift to have the hubby away at a swap meet!
Haha! Happy Mother's Day, Honey, look what I got for you... this beautiful set of used headers, and they're in great shape - they just need some sandblasting and a fresh coat of paint! Enjoy!
I don't know how the rest of you made out at the swap meet but I'm pretty happy with the swap meet finds today. I had hectic week and couldn't find the energy to be a vendor, so I went as a buyer. And I'm glad to have done that!
Acadian steering wheel with horn ring and centre cap. These horn rings are often broken and the centre cap isn't an easy find either. Steering wheel of course is needs-total-restoration.
65 Canso Sport Deluxe instrument cluster. Again, needs restored but this is a unique cluster to the 65 SD's.
My best score of the 3, at least based on need. My Strato Chief had a tissue dispenser installed at some point by the original owner but he bought a US Pontiac dispenser with the Pontiac logo on it. The US GM's of that era had a unique logo for each of the car lines, Chev, Olds, Pontiac and Buick. The Canadian dispensers simply used a "GM" logo dispenser across the board. This on is correct for my 66. Later years of Canadian GM's, as discussed with our member 2qwik2c (Andrew) at the swap meet, used a different face than this.

I was going to email to ask how you made out, but there's my answer. Congrats!!
