What can you guys tell me about this car? I intend to go to Vintage Vehicle services for further info but I 'just got to know ' now!

Thanks

Sorry, I saw this earlier and meant to help. If nobody helps you by tomorrow sometime I'll dig in my books and see what they say.

According to the "Catalog of Canadian ID numbers"

Style 7135 is Strato Chief 4 door wagon, six passenger

Paint H is Horizon Blue Metalic

Unfortunately my book doesn't have trim codes. Is this the 60 Strato Chief wagon that was for sale in Ontario?

FYI - that's not the VIN tag, your photo shows the trim tag (often called body tag or firewall tag) and doesn't contain your VIN.

The VIN is on a separate tag - not sure where it is on your car, but I'd suspect on the drivers side A pillar of by the drivers door hinges.

Yes, Canadian Poncho, it is a 4 door Station wagon and yes it was for sale on Market place in Norfolk/Simcoe Ontario.

Yes not a VIN tag seventy2plus2, my error in its name, I usually call it a firewall tag. but I saw this VIN decoder link and went with that.  I have attached the VIN tag here.

Can anyone tell me where it was built etc

I'm afraid the VIN doesn't contain a digit for the plant code in 1960.

The trim 834 simply is called blue interior.

Paint code H was either called Chalet Blue or Skymist blue it appears (same code, not the same name, I"m not sure which name Pontiac used.)

It would have been built in Oshawa.

I looked at this car when it was for sale back in 2010
