Says 1 of about 350 built, only 33 still registered in the US according to DMV- Id like to see that document. No GM Canada paperwork in the listing, so easy and cheap to obtain, owner may not know its available.
Spent a fortune on building this resto mod, but car is lacking a windshield wiper. Paint reportedly cost $50,000.

Know this car very well. Built in langey, BC a few years ago. Started life as real SD convertible. Marina or Danube blue, (not sure from memory), with two tone blue interior and white top. Small bloc/glide car. First edition of rebuild had SBC with turbo 350, then repowered with mild LS, (built by local engine builder/restorer/racer), kept carb for old school vibe, pulley package, and turbo 350 kept in it. Black Paint was redone a number of times by various painters until satisfactory with nice grey stripping on hood and trunk. Black interior basically stock with digital gauges, nicely restored console and mostly black stock upholstery. Very nice high end custom ordered cloth top with glass back window. 12 bolt was from a 68-72 so it was problem due to wider than 65 rearend, took many experiments get a nice set of wheels fitting properly inside the wheel wells. Lots of chrome redone a couple of times until satisfaction was achieved. The chrome rocker panels added because somehow in tear down, bagging and tagging parts, a couple of original rocker moldings were lost or went missing. I have not seen the car for a year or two but interesting to see it being promoted now.

Hopefully someone will ask about the Vintage docs to back up that claim of rarity.

There is a really well built chevette or Acadian around here with an LS, hard to get pictures of it, all you ever see is the back. Posted that as the questions/replies mentioned the Pontiac Acadian/Chevettes as a POS.

Ended at $38K, reserve not met. I think the $150k appraisal is a bit high.
