1990 1LE with 6 original miles found in a basement

These stories always confound me. Why never drive a car like this? The guy died and gained nothing from it.

I know a guy in town that bought a new 89 IROC and just drove it to his house from the dealership and parked it -still there in his garage-told him he won't get what he paid for it as there are tons of them around-
Keep on Cruising!!!

There's a part of me that understands that somebody wants to be a custodian of a prime example of a particular marque. It does seem pointless though, as when cars change hands their future course can change.

It is nice to see an original untouched example as a reference no doubt. To me it would be best to have that IROC-Z properly stored and preserved, but also take it out for exercise in season!

I know I should talk, but cars aren't made to sit indefinitely. If they do, that makes you the curator of a museum display artifact.
