 100% correct Randy. The base V8 was a 327 2 barrel, unique to the Canadian Pontiacs, right? Not available in Chevrolet?

 I suppose we have effectively derailed this thread..... apologies. Yup checked it out, the 68 Acadian had an emblem something like this:
