Big block spark plugs

What brand of plugs are BB guys running in their cars ?  Just trying to get a handle on the  "best" brand. On another website I saw that NGK's are the latest fad.  I just finished having a big problem with a 4 stroke out board and the mechanic said to get rid of the NGK's!

Back in the 90's, guys were running Autolites. Never heard anyone running Champions though, performance guys.

Just curious

There is no better plug for a big block than an AC Delco.

Champions are good for Chryslers and lawn mowers.

AC Delco in the 409, work great but rust more than some others. Ive found the OE brand works best in most of my engines, be that AC Delco, NGK, Denso, or champion- in lawn mower or chain saw. Anything else and youre playing with fire.

I'm surprised it is unanimous. I guess most of the guys here are just street driving, not racing.

Why couldn't you use AC plugs if you are racing?

Back in the 90's when I was in racing heavy I saw lots of guys running Autolite plugs in BB cars. drag racing and road racing. I had a LT1 small block then, warmed over 475HP. It was a lot "friendlier " racing then. I would help guys tuning their cars and they said the Autolites didn't foul nearly as much as Delco plugs. I just took their word for it, numerous guys did it. I was running a SB and beating most of them at the time.
I was on another website lately and the question came up and now guys are saying NGK's are the "hot" ticket.
As I stated, just wondered what the BB guys here were running.......
