Looks relatively untouched in terms of modifications.  I wonder if it had been stored inside for a number of years before it sat outside.  Probably needs everything, though.

I guess this one makes 6 1970 2+2 convertibles I have ever heard of. That's 1 LS4 (Clint's car in Calgary), 1 LF6 (Ottawa Diplomat), 3 L48, and this one which is either L65 or L48.

The Ontario license plate on that car has 3 letters & 3 digits, which is correct for a 1973+ Ontario plate..

A number of years ago someone posted photo's of a grey 70 2+2 that was in an Ontario apartment parking lot, I think it might have been a hardtop though. Is the member who posted those photo's still around?

That place looks like it is close to where my daughter took equestrian riding lessons.

I wonder if the print-screen below is the place?

If it has the black houndstooth interior it could be this car:PXL_20231203_195225360.jpg

Cool history if it is that car.

Usually one could not order cloth on the seats of a convertible back in those days. They made an exception for the 1969 Camaro Pace Car convertibles. It looks like houndstooth cloth was also available on the 2+2 convertibles in 1970(!)

That cool black & white image reflects more like a solid Beige paint would, not a metallic in a darker tone.

I posted the silver hardtop. It was parked behind a townhouse in London. No idea if it still exists.

The Forest Green L48 convertible was one I heard about in 1986 in North York. The guy I was speaking with was in his Gobi Beige (sorry, Chevrolet colour names) L48 convertible and was the son of the owner of the dark green car. So that makes 2 in that family.

That was 38 years ago. A lot could've happened since then. It could have changed hands and the owner could have passed on.

Re: the Facebook car. Wow, I guess chrome is so expensive now that people do things like paint their bumpers.

I absolutely love the slanted louvers, the rear 2+2 emblem and stripe package on the 70 2+2! Its details like those, that make the classic cars so unique.

They're out there, but often disguised with Parisienne front fenders (engine callouts higher up on the fenders). Here's ones I know of and have seen:

Red 454 in Penticton,
White 454 in N. Alberta,
Green 350 by Edmonton (had the houndstooth interior),

Green 350 by Calgary, I knew the owner until he passed 3 or 4 years ago.  We did many shows together.

my Yellow 350 in Calgary (has LS4 installed from my old 70 Parisienne),
Brown (or was it green?) 350 in Winnipeg - (not seen but have photos),
Red 454 in Kansas, was from Wetaskiwin AB,
Rusty 454 in Kansas, was from Listowel ON (not seen),
White 350 in London,
Yellow 400 in Burlington,
Green 350 by Peterborough - extremely rusty, had Automatic a/c & vigilites,
Black 350 by Kingston (from Marketplace) (not seen),
Blue 454 by Montreal - occasionally posted on Facebook (not seen).

About 20 years ago I was chasing a red one in Vancouver, but not sure if it was a 2+2. Had a Parisienne front clip. Very elderly owner who couldn't read the VIN.
Also about 20 years ago I looked at one in SW Calgary. Same thing, Parisienne front clip, but had buckets & console. Didn't think to look at the VIN.

Don't know seller at all but I seriously screen kijiji questions, I find over 90% are guys just interested in the car and like to pick apart what's wrong with it and generally gab about the one they have the same etc....you get it. Time wasters with no intent to even see let alone buy the car.

Looks like the white one used to be green, and the front passenger fender on the pile has the louvers. At first glance I thought that was a fuel tank laying across the engine compartment, then realized it's a fully assembled dash laying upside down.
