1969 396 2+2

This is a public service announcement, there was a blue 69 2+2 convertible with a 396 2bbl in Montreal listed on eBay that just sold to someone in Saskatchewan for almost $6,000.  If the buyer or someone who knows him is on this site they might want to let him know if he hasn't paid yet he should reconsider.

My friend saw the car in person and it is a rotten moldy disaster with a seized engine and drivetrain components.  The odd thing is that the seller isn't dishonest, he is in the US and is selling it for a friend who is the very elderly owner in montreal.  He simply knows nothing about the car and the owner isn't all there.

Just putting this out there.

That's interesting John. I found a couple listings on eBay, showing that it sold on Nov 17 (item # 135379066146) & Nov 28 (item # 135393765496).
I also remember someone posting this a link to an eBay listing for this car within the last couple months.

The listing still exsists on ebay.

Mine was a lot rougher than that! And I even paid a bit more than that, but it's a slightly rarer edition. Still, it's hard to imagine what you CAN get for $6K these days.

At the end of the day you're getting the interior parts, emblems, louvres, an L36, side marker lights, and a trim/vin plate for $6K
