Need some information regarding stock air breathers on newer carbs. Will a stock 4 barrel air breather from 63/64 fit on a newer 4 barrel carb like a Holley or Edelbrock ? My 1963 Pontiac Parisienne has a 283 block number 9V280505 I'm thinking it may not be the original motor for the car. Can anyone tell me if this is a 1963 built engine, if not, what year would it most likely be from. Also what was the motor # range for motors built in 1963. Thanks, -G

Did they have enough for 2 passengers in the rear seat.....or three? I keep thinking it was generally for only 2 rear passengers....not sure. On the bench seat in front, was it common to have a set for the middle passenger ? Anybody recall?

I have the spare tire and jack up on the back of the trunk shelf laying loose. That's how I got it when I purchased the car. Does anyone know how all the jack parts and tire are supposed to be tied in together as it was delivered from the factory?

I own a 1962 Pontiac Strato Chief 2-door sedan and there are letters on the rear tail panel...couple of the letters have broken studs, including P. I found brand new ones for a 1966 Pontiac online but while they look somewhat similar I'm assuming they won't work...anybody have/or know where I can find...
