Looking at a hidden/preserved part of my 1969 booster it looks to have been golden cad plated originally, so I will have it polished and replated with that process as well. I just wanted to make sure that this wasn't a service replacement or something and the originals were black in 1969. Thanks!

Looking in the parts book, for 1969-70 the available ratios were: 2.29, 2.56, 2.73, 3.07, 3.31, 3.55 Most Turbohydramatic cars were 2.73 and Powerglide cars were 3.07. M20 cars were 3.31. Since they can come off anything Canadian (two door, convertible, wagon, four door, ambulance, doesn't matter), shouldn't be =too= hard to locate. For a 1969 with the key in the column: Normally by the time these cars are 50 years old (or even a lot less) the ignition key can be removed while ON and you have to jiggle the key to cancel the door buzzer, all of that. Is that the ignition cylinder, or what's actually wearing in? I can put a new lock cylinder...

I didn't want to monkey with my nicely patina'd original air cleaner lid, since the decals aren't properly reproduced. So rather than restore it, I'll set it aside, but I still needed a lid. So I grabbed an Impala 335hp automatic unit off eBay just for the lid (if you have a use for the base, let me know)...

Is it not reproduced? I haven't checked Camaro stuff yet, but no on lists them on the Impala side. You can get narrow brake pedals, and you can get wide "Disc Brake" pedals, but not the narrow "Disc Brake" pedals that I can see.
