Hi guys, I have a starting problem with my 65 that has happened three times in the last month. It's like trying to start the car in gear instead of park. It doesn't matter if the car is hot or cold it just wont turn over. I have tried starting in neutral but still no go. I am not sure if its the ignition switch...

Anyone know if gm used a pontiac or chev wiring harness for the engine .since it's a gm motor I'm assuming gm wiring under the hood

I think it came up from Florida to Vancouver Island, then to Alberta. Whatever happened to it? I think I got a bit confused as once it was here in Alberta it may have changed hands again, maybe not. Or the guy wanted the car to stay intact but maybe the engine got yarded out. Any clues? -- Edited by seven...

Dave had several COOL Canadian Pontiacs (mid to late 60's)...in the 80's.....lived in Calgary......would prolly be in his late 60's now....believe he was entering the medical field...at that time... He doesn't owe me money...I just want to connect....

Well I still haven't found my 69 2+2 so for $900 I picked up an original paint 69 Parisienne. 350 2bbl, TH350 Verdoro Green with medium green interior. The body is pretty solid with rust at the back of the front fenders and 1/4's. Interior is shot, and puke ugly. This was the scene last Sunday morning.

Does anyone know if GM issued "assembly manuals" for our cars? I've never seen any assembly manual but I suspect they are different then the shop manual? I'd love to have one if they did. Do they have instructions like "Scrape away plating where modelling cement must go"?
