disc brakes for my 65 Laurentian wagon??

I was wondering if front disc brakes from a 70 Impala will bolt on to my 65 wagon it belive it is the same. I have the complete set up spindles included has any one done this before I belive it will work feel free to let me know your thoughts ken

How to remove Ebrake cable?

Does anyone have any tricks on removing the Ebake cable from the floor by the firewall?I don't want to damage it taking it out.Pliers and a screwdriver have only come to frustration.Trying to get all the metal barbs pushed in at the same time is a nightmare.
