3/16 Reverse flare sealing issues.
(Preview)
I'm having a bear of a time getting my master to rear line to seal at the union. Seems no matter what, I am getting a hint of weep. I took the advice from here, and built up to tightening, on/on and slowly. And I'm on the third line now. Second union. Though I had it, but there is still a slight hint of weep. Firs...

Brake line "T" fitting question.
(Preview)
I'm planning on adding 1970 front discs to my 65. This will require a dual Disc/Drum master along with some new plumbing. In thinking about the plumbing of the lines, I see a way it could be perhaps made easier. The existing single master 4 port distribution "T" could be made to work...If I could block th...

1966 Beaumont/chevelle front bumper differences
(Preview)
Good evening all! I have a 1966 Pontiac Beaumont that has some chrome peeling on it. I have another bumper lying around which I purchased off another person on Kijiji from a 1966 beaumont 4 door hard top. Everything fits perfectly except for one thing, the hood release latch level. My old bumper had a ho...

1969/70 used 2+2 front springs in the 65?
(Preview)
On the 65 the plan is to use a pair of used stock front springs that Clint had sent me many moons ago (thanks Clint). I knew I might need them someday. If I remember right, they were from a 69 or 70 small block TH350 2+2 no air. Could be wrong. The question is, will they be suitable for the 65 Sedan? 327/M20 in a 6...

Factory Option J52
(Preview)
For 67, option # J52 was supposed to be for front disc brakes with 15" tires. I believe this option was only available for Safari wagons. Has anyone ever seen what the original wheel covers looked like for 15" wheels? I haven't found any on the net.

15x8 factory wheel questions.
(Preview)
Are there any factory 15x8 steel wheels other than a rally, in the B Body bolt pattern. Did the pattern change in 71? The plan was to use the Wheel Vintiques series 62 on the 65, but if I could find 4 good steel wheels I'd go that route as a cost savings. If available...where would you even find them? Thanks,...

Changing 66 upper control arm bushings
(Preview)
A while back I noticed the inside of both front tires wearing after only 3000 miles on them, and also noticed the upper control arm bushings were looking pretty nasty. I've had a set of NOS bushings sitting around here since long before I got this car and once I saw that I knew where their home would be. Tod...

Time for front end work

I noticed today that my "new" front tires (3000 miles) that I put on when I bought my car have a slight bit of wear on the inside and I when I run my hand both directions on them I can feel the difference between the two directions. I know some of my original front bushings are showing their age, so I guess I kno...
