Just trying to gather information on a 66 Acadian. Vin# 6 (year) 71637 (v-8 canso 2dr ht) 006762 (were the serial numbers 6 digits in 1966?) Production numbers of 309 really seems low to me. Of course this is not the SD model, just the Canso hardtop.

Just got home from a trip to purchase a set of Chevy II/Acadian exhaust manifolds. A guy doesnt luck out like this often. 3790729 and 3849288. Complete with heat hiser, bolts, and original pipes! The gentlemen said they were from his brothers 66 SS and they had removed them in 1971 for a set of headers....

I know its not a Pontiac but I really like this site and have used it many times to help me with my Oshawa bulit 66 Nova. Its originally a Regal Red on red V8 car. Now an L79 look a like with a Muncie and a 12 bolt. Small journal 327 with 10.3:1, forged bottom, double humps, 490 intake, Holley 600, headers etc.....

I just picked up a p/s setup from a 63 Nova that I want to install in my car. The engine that was in the Nova was a 250cu in 6 cyl. so it wasn't original. Did the 62-65 Acadian Hardtop use a chrome 2 piece retainer molding as a headliner retainer.? The Novas have a plastic that presses over the pinch welt.

66 Quarter Window Frame - Chrome or Stainless

Putting back all the trim and interior on the 66 after paint. One of the quarter window fuzzies screws was too far out and scratched the quarter window frame. I repaired and polished my own stainless but this looks more like chrome the way it scratched. Anyone know?
