so, here i am building a pro touring 1970 acadian for anyday use. i have a 2009 6.0 with a 4l80e and all new suspension and brake swap. iwould like to start putting the front sheet metal back on but figure i may as well put in a power steering box and pitman arm while i ave easy access. enough of the blah blah....

I did a DSE mini tub on my 67 and want to use my new gas tank, which I got with the car.Should I use a mopar leaf spring for more clearance? Or would a chevy work when moving the springs inbound?

Going a different way on my rear end.Instead of buying and shortening a 12 bolt,plus gears axles etc,who would you boys suggest to buy a complete setup from?Thinking of staying with a 12 bolt,but open to suggestions

Converting my 66 canso to power brakes but don't think the pedal height is the same as manual. Anyone know how far off the floor the pedal should sit for power brakes, no specs in the shop manual. Also wondering about the brake light switch? Thanks Jim

After two weeks of research and measuring I finally got my disc brake conversion done. I used stock spindle with 2000 malibue rotor and caliper. Had to take 1/8 off hub to get rotor to fit over hub the rest was almost just bolt up except for machining drum brake backing plate bolt and makeing my own spindl...

The 2000 Malibu rotors I used on my conversion do not have to be re-drilled the factory holes will fit 4 3/4 bolt pattern. Just did because I can. First pic is my drilled holes, second is the factory holes.

I am running a Heidts fnt clip with 12.19 wildwood disc brakes.Will be going the same on the rear 12 bolt. Dynolight 4 piston calipers.Just woundering if I should go with the power master,or a hydra boost. What have you boys used on your 67's?
