Thanks, I am excited to get going but I have been spending all my time blowing out the snow tunnel that I like to call my driveway.....

I will give GM a call. Thanks for the info, I am hoping the production numbers are fairly low !!

Hey all...I have had a few '70 Parisiennes down the line. I can see that this thread is older but none to less.... I had a 4-dr post, 4-dr h/t in the late '80's and since '89, a 2-dr h/t. Was a 6 with a THM-350 but I always tinker lots with this one. Was sitting since '75 with 35025 miles on the odom. Picked it up in '89 to put it back on the road. Put in a 350 and 4-gear Saginaw. Replaced interior with a donor Laurentian black interior, newer tilt and map lamp over the ash tray. Also wired in delay wipers and replaced the factory switch with one from a middle '80's p/u.
Then in '91, tossed in and wired the GM TBI EFI 350 with a Warner 4-gear. Then in '94 I installed a 454 from a '91 Crew cab and then removed the Warner for a 5-speed Muncie from a '92 Chev 1/2 ton with the hydralic slave. Added discs, 3:08 posi and police car rear sway bar. This past couple of years , added a factory map rear view mirror, p/w and locks, trunk release, PMD hood tach. Got some parts out a of '70 Police Laurentian with a Certified Speedo. So that 2 will find it's way in the mix.
I have a '70 Catalina 4-dr h/t as well. Plain, engine was seized--350 American. Installed a 350 Chevy in it with a THM 400. Just a driver car. Now resting.
In the mean time, I do covet a set of 454 emblems for this car. I seen a few in pics and would like a set. I will add a new topic in parts wanted later.......

That's a cool 70! Looks like you western guys have more of these B-bodies than we Ontario folks (thanks to the road salt here). There's pretty much nothing as far as parts cars around here..

Well.......... Actually these pics were taken in Goose-Bay Labrador. I moved out west in '97. I know all about the salt issues as I am from Newfoundland originally for 22 years. In Goose-Bay there is virtually no rust as it is inland, cold and dry. Winter time, sand is used on the roads. Wish I had gotten there earlier, man the cars at the dump. I am tearing up as I type. All gone now!
As this was her first paint, in '91, with the exception of the typical bubbles over the rear wheel wells, she is still in great condition with her original panels. I also parted a '69 Laurentian 4-dr post. Anything else you may need?

Does the american models count ? I always like the American Pontiac engines since 1988 ie. 20 years already. The 1970 full size Pontiac has been my favorite model for years. The first one I laid eyes on was back in 1986 after I bought my first car, which was a 1975 Olds Cutlass S 260 baby V8. Anyway a friend of mine had a 70 Catalina 455 car ( I have never seen one ever since, all Bonneville but no Catalina 455 models ), after that, in 1988 there was a Bonneville 455 4 dr car for sale for 300$ and I wanted the engine to replace the worned out 75 Pontiac 350 that was not matching my 66 GTO anyway, but got lucky and found a matching # 389. Here in Winnipeg is where I found the most numbers of 1970 Bonnevilles : That picture is from a parts car 1970 Bonneville 4 dr, that I was looking to purchase the 455 out of. Ended up that the car was sunk in the ground for years and the 455 had seized from water getting inside in a big way ! ( The dipstick broke in half when I pulled it out ! LOL ) I offered the guy $200 but he wouldn't take it. They also had another 2dr running one. This year I missed on a very rare 1970 Hearse 455 Bonneville with only a little over 3000 miles !!! that sold right away for 1500$. Last saturday I went to look at a 1970 Pontiac Bonneville...you guess it 455...convertible but the price was too high for a motor that needs rebuilding and a rusted out frame ( holes in it ) and rust all around the bottom of the car from sitting too long in a field. Hope you guys enjoyed my 70 full size Pontiac history stories. P.S. I would keep a 454 model if I found one. Pascal

There are some real cool American models out there. There was a solid 69 428 Catalina on ebay with the Rally cluster. That's a rare car too.
