  Thanks for the compliments, guys.
The paint is a Sherwin Williams dark purple pearl...not sure why it's called pearl, really dosen't look pearl to me. But I'm really happy with it.

My friend in New Brunswick, in 1966-67 had a RCMP officer friend, who had a 60 Bonneville hardtop with tri power 4 speed  Used to use it, for Ghost car pursuit work..   They would also go out Sat nights, drinking a lot of beer, and racing.. IF they got beat, they went to WILL'S house, and got out the white Pontiac!!!  It was hard to beat on the street, because of its weight dist and 4.11 gears...  I saw a 67 Chevelle deluxe 2 door 327-275 give the white Chief a close run one night   the chevelle was a 3 on the tree, and the driver had one arm!  biggrin

Yeah John, some do call'em gangster white walls...
I'm a wimp, so they are my tidy whities!!!

Carl...Back in high school, there was a guy a couple years older who had a big ol' american Bonneville, always had a cold case of beer in it. I remember that car cuz of it's size and he usually just sat in the far corner of our drive-in hang out sucking on brews, but he could really smokem' when he wanted too. Generally he'd keep a low profile so he could drink his beer without police activity.
I saw him last year...he owns his late father's liquor store!
