I own a '66 four door Beaumont Custom that I can't afford to spend tons of cash on ( a: because I'm a university student, b: because I don't think it's worth it) I am hoping to make it a fun summer driver for now since it will comfortably fit 15 uni students going to a drive-in movie. I am looking for some parts though that are proving to be a bit difficult to find. I need a tail light lense for sure, and a few other things that were unique to Beaumonts. The engine is not original but it is a 230, just like the original owner bought. I appreciate any help that I can get, as I am obvioulsy new to this sort of project.
Just as a side note for you guys interested in numbers, the VIN # on my car is GM Canada D.D. 673569005354. If anyone has any interesting info regarding this vin, I would appreciate that as well.
Welcome here, Archie. I just spent a bunch of time at the Winnipeg swap meet today beside a very nice 67 4 door Beaumont, and after seeing it I don't agree with your statement that your car is "not worth it!"
Why don't you make up a wanted list for your car and post it in the Beaumont parts wanted section on here? There is a pretty helpful bunch of guys here, so if anyone has the stuff you need I bet they will help you out.

Thank you for the encouragement. Someday in the far future, I hope to have a car that is customized to my liking but for now - baby steps. I'll work on the picture thing and the parts list. I'm just happy knowing that there is a good group of people out there that share my appreciation for the unique look of the Beaumont and I hope to suck as much info out of this website as possible.

ok, so I have a 4 door Beaumont that was ( I presume) made in Canada. I'm not thinking that I have a "rare" car - as in it's not worth a ton of money because of its rarity- but now that I've been looking around the internet I'm noticing that not many people restore the 4 door Beaumonts and that (sadly) most people who own 4 doors use these classy looking beauties for (sniff) parts cars. With this trend in mind, how many 4 door Beaumonts are out there? How long before the 4 door becomes a "rare" car? or will 4 doors always be cursed to be the "uncool" car that nobody wants.
How many of you wonderful people checking out this website have 4 door Beaumonts? do you have pictures of them?
6 = model year 1966 735 = Beaumont Custom 6 cylinder 69 = four door sedan 0 = assembly plant code for Oshawa, Ontario 0 = start of sequential unit number 5354 = where your car was off the assembly line in Oshawa
