Search Ebay under 69 Catalina. There has been repro half quarters listed for quite some time. Not sure if this helps ya though. Welcome to the site. I think now there are officially 5 or 6 69 full size owners on here!

Nice Avatar C2. Wouldn't it be neat if we could register member's cars somehow so we knew how many of each model and year.

Are you looking for any trim stuff? I might still be able to scare some up from a 69 Parisienne convert I scrapped years ago.

Are you talking 427 decal for the air cleaner or a fender emblem?

I wish I would have saved the dash pad.

Never mind that, I wish I would have saved the car.cry

You are right. It quite possibly could be the only one left. Do you have GM of Canada documentation? Can you post the info? Now we really need to see photos!

I will have to look what is left. I know I had taken some of the stuff around the windshield. It's been sitting many years in an old parts car here. I will try to look when I get a chance but we got almost 2" of rain yesterday and it's kind of a swamp there right now! I will likely wait a bit till it dries up.

Boy, I used to have 3 fender emblems. I know I sold a pair, but I thought I had kept the orphan. So far I can't find it though.

Carl,

I'm new to this forum (first post today).  I require some trim for my 69 2+2 convertible.   Do you have a hood trim.  I'm referring to the trim piece along the rear edge of the hood near the windshield.

I need the side air louvers as well.  My car has had the quarter panels replaced and the previous owner did not bother to reuse or keep the louvers.

Finally, I could also use rocker panel trim and the midbody side trim from a 69 Parisienne.

Any help you can provide is appreciated.

Thanks,

Al

Cool car!.

Sorry for the hijack but the '69 427 B-Body Poncho thing brings me back to a question I asked in an earlier post but saw no response..

Has RPO L72 been confirmed shipped w/ '69 Canadian B-Body Pontiacs...and if so, is a production quantity known?.

To add to the above question, what about 'L72's in 66 & '68 Canadian B-Body Ponchos...taking for granted they weren't available in '67 as in '67 Chevys (although I've seen evidence of '67 Chevy L72s built).

So are there any factory built L72 Poncho B-Body cars known by members here...of any year?.

Lastly here's an old ad I lifted from the Yenko site..   It's from the Winipeg Free Press-Monday, June 18. 1973...2'nd ad from the bottom..

I've never heard of a 435hp 427 Canadian B-body but you can never say never.. It wouldn't surprise me if that Strato Chief was a legit L72 car. Oh to have one now!

Also, welcome to the site Al. You'll have to show us pics of your 2+2.

To be more clear, I'm a believer they made '66 to '69 Canadian Pontiac B-Body L72/425Hp 4bbl cars..

What I'm wondering is what cars may exist now and what recent GM Canada documents may show as production quantities also if any other B-Body Pontiac production w/ RPO L72 is known?.

That '66 Strato L72 stick car sounds like someone sure checked off the perfect dream mix of options!!!

Welcome Bill ! Sounds like a cool car you found there. Do you have the original engine ? Have you sent to GM for docs ? I get up to Edmonton quite a bit. Would be great to see your project !
