London Cruise night

The family and I went to the Canadian Tire cruise night tonight in London. HUGE turnout- the lot was overflowing with great cars. I met a lot of great people including Trevor (a.k.a 59Poncho). I talked to a fellow who's best friend still has the 69 2+2 his dad bought new. He's going to tell him about the sight. Another fellow told me how his buddy bought a 427 69 Pontiac (wasn't sure which model) for $200 bucks several years ago and yanked the motor and put it in his Nova. Sad sad indeed but not that uncommon back in the day. I heard a lot of "Haven't seen one of them in years". Seems like they were everywhere and then vanished. The car ran very well. The gas guage works well too.....half a tank used already.cry

You need a overdrive tranny Todd.
That's absolutely the first major thing you should consider for the Laurentien.

I thought of that also. I have a 700 in my shed. I assume it's in working order but would have to get it checked out. What all mods do I have to do to use it (driveshaft etc?) Is there a kit to use the tv cable?

yeah it was a good turnout and i was glad to have met our fearless leader! Lots of nice cars and i brought my father-in-law so it was interesting to see him reminice(need spellcheck!) about some of the cars he had when he first came to canada from britian. There was also some british metal there so he had stories about his cars from britian too. He still cries when he see's a 67 barracuda cause that was his favorite muscle car he owned. He had a 70 I think parissiane at one time as a company car and a couple beaumonts as well.
