Never thought i would buy a 62 strato chief but could not let it go to crusher. Runs great and little rust in rear but shifter jams alot is this common, bushing? I could really use some help because this car is sharp and i starting to enjoy working on it.Thanks Tom
The linkage likely needs adjusting. Get a shop manual first and read up on how the linkage works and how to adjust it. My 54 Chevy did that when I first got it. I adjusted the linkage and it was smooooooth as butter.

I will call adam tomorrow thanks for pointing it out, I have to go back and get two big boxes of parts that were in the garage and a rear window,Not sure what's in the boxes she just said it chrome piece's, Christmas in july. Thanks everbody for there help,Tom
