UFO's and the paranormal

I read tonight that UFO sightings in Canada have increased dramatically in the last couple of years. I also read that a crop circle was discovered near Goderich, Ontario a couple of days ago. It's here in the Clinton newspaper: CLICK HERE
At first I thought it was perhaps Carl getting his driveshaft in and doing donuts in the field!biggrin
What's your slant on this stuff? Do you think there are craft from other planets flying around. Is it military? What about the paranormal (ghost etc)? I live in a 100 year old house and while I don't really want to say it's haunted. We have a LOT of strange things happen here from noises (breaking glass), finding the face of our mantle clock opened wide open in the morning(it takes quite a bit of effort to unclaps it and open it), dogs freaking out and barking at something we can't see, lights coming on by themselves, etc etc. I could go on and on.
Anyone else have an interesting UFO or paranormal story to share?

Todd

Funny you bring this up, my son and I had quite the conversation about this up at the cottage a few weks ago, cooking a few hot dogs at 2 in the morning outside jawing away looking up in the north sky.

I won't bore you with all we talked about but I do believe we have been and continue to be visited by other beings.

As for paranormal, I worked at Osgoode Hall at the corner of Queen and University for 10 years, that place was built in the early 1800's and I'm telling you 100% that freaking place is haunted. When educated and credible people like lawyers and accountants experince encounters with ghosts I think you have to put some credence in what they say.

I have two personal encounters, but I'm not sharing because everyone already thinks I'm nuts.

We built a granny flat onto our house two years ago for my inlaws. We didn't say anything to them about our experiences. After a week of living with us, my mother-in-law says to my wife "I think you have a ghost here". Apparently the cupboards in their flat would open about 2cm and slam shut. The end one would start, then the one beside it and so on. My father in law was a skeptic until he was awaken by the sound of something sliding across his dresser. We have to keep their bathroom door closed as the light comes on by itself in the middle of the night and wakes them up!
I came home from work one day and while I was in our bedroom changing, I heard what sounded like our ceramic toothbrush holder in the next bathroom get thrown into the sink. It was very loud and I was sure one of our cats was up to no good. When I got to the bathroom, no one was in it and nothing had moved! Like I said, I could go on and on about the wierd things that go on here!
