A new member asked me for help in determining the valve of his 62 Beaumont so he could sell it. I wasnt much help because I really dont know the valve of these old cars; my last couple only cost me a case of beer each. (Can you tell I have Scottish heritage)not sure of the forum because its not fore sale yet just trying to determine what he should ask. As for rarity Ive only seen one other 62 Beaumont in person and it was last weekend
Subject: 1962 Beaumont Acadian need help
Have 62 in garage,4door,last painted in 1972.Took orig. motor out and put 350 in.not real good with computer.car has all trim ,automatic and is in exceptional shape. took 350 out to get ready to paint but have decided to sell.it also has org.hub caps.what price do i ask!!! and are there a lot of 62 Acadians around?
I know of a 62 hardtop less engine that sold in the mid 3's I believe a couple of years ago. Pretty solid car with driver quality paint. I have looked at the car a couple of times and I would say under 5 was a steal considering how much it costs to buy and install panels.
I am not sure how to tie in the value of a hardtop and a 4 door though. The demand for a 4 door is certainly much less.

I have an all original 62 Acadian beaumont 4 dr that spent it's life in Arizona. It had a slight hit in the rear, needed a rear bumper and deck lid. All of the trim inside and out was on the car. Being in AZ none of the diecast was pitted or peeling. All original drivetrain intact, original door panels intact but the seats needed covers. I advertised the car for sale for 1 1/2 yrs before I removed any parts or pieces. I asked $1,750 for everything, remember car was not drivable but rolled on all 4's. Motor and trans may have worked but it had set for a long time. After much consideration, I started selling parts, the rear deck trim was first to go, very solid hood was next, front fender spears, front doors when to a wagon, front bumper, steering column w/wheel, radio delete panel, all in all I think I have made, about $800-900. I still have the grille, front filler panel with all 7 ACADIAN letters, side trim, front fenders, rear doors, seats and almost a complete dash. In the end, I will get my $1,750 out of the car because it had solid sheet metal and still has solid rockers, quarters and rear doors. My opinion, you can get a couple grand, maybe $2,500 if it is driveable. If it is a roller, good luck getting $1,500. That would be much quicker and easier than selling it in pieces. Mine has been in my storage now for 3 years. Just my story, good luck.
