I changed some of my "confirmed by paperwork" ones above to red.  See my edits above.

I stripped a 67 custom 4dr HT V8 this summer.  I have the serial if someone wants to send it in.
Only about 1/2 dozen or so 66-69 4dr HTs around manitoba.

I can explain.
I posted it for "beaumontwagon".  He wanted to know correct placement of the cooling and battery decals.   I'll change it out to somthing better.

Wow, it shows still today how strong BC was for Acadians. Over the years they seemed to have by far the most and this confirms it.

I was told that there were only 9 -  '67 Beaumont SD's built with a 427c.i. and 425 hp. and they were all shipped to Montreal. Does any one know if that is true ? The reason I ask is - there is a guy in Edmonton who was trying to sell his Beaumont SD with 427c.i. / 425hp. and that's what he told me.

i heard that the cheetahs were made at a winnipeg dealer, i dont know. How many made, and where they went, i dont know. I'd be sceptical of the car in Edmonton unless he had documentation backing up the car.

Supposedly they were made by conroy pontiac in West Van. BC.
There is a couple threads on here discussing them in detail.
I am very sceptical as to weather or not these cars actually existed.

Many people out there claim to have one, or know of one.  I have never seen actual proof.
I alway get mixed stories about, years, colors, options, #'s produced, etc, etc.
No real hard facts have ever come out though
There are at least 3-4 people that i have been in contact with over the last 10 years who claim to have one or know of one.
Never seen actual pictures or documents though.

I use to think they were real, but now i'm not so sure

Don't get me wrong though.  I'm sure that there were dealerships out there in the 60's that did special beaumonts or 427 conversions, just never seen any real ones.

I used to live in Vanc., the affectionatos i was around, never mentioned N.Van. Same here never have seen any documentation or cars. If you think about it though, GM couldnt have just swapped engines, the tork would destroy the car, same as a z-16. Thuse the convertable frame, they would have to do the same for the Beaumont

The stories i here is that conroy pontiac would get a SD396 car in and then retro fit 427s and higher horse 396's.  Similar to a yenko or baldwin motion car.

I seriously doubt that a documented factory built 427 Beaumont will ever surface. Dealer installed would be no shock at all.

Great posts guys, production numbers are alway interesting. I see theres nothing on 73537 Beaumont Custom 6 cyl Two door hardtop yet. Maybe I will send a  way for the GM information package to fill this gap. Any one know the phone number and contact to order this ?

So you are talking actual factory installed 427? Not dealer installed, but factory?

Yes, then I would be most interested in talking to him.

Hi again.  He told me 9 only were built with a 427ci, 425 hp. He said they were all sent to Montreal and placed on pedestals on display at Expo 67.
He also said you could tell them apart from the other Beaumont SD's by their 2 spear emblems. The 9 special Beaumonts had 3 maple leafs instead of 2.

so far we have 9898 beaumonts listed for 67 out of 12334 cars produced that year, that leaves 2436 cars left with 13 models remaining

Something must be off, because i could see just a couple 4d models adding up to over 2000 alone.

I have a 67 custom 4dr 6cyl car, and a custom 4dr 8cyl car.
I would bet both of those combined would total over 2000 for sure.

Well you know what I am going to be doing all summer at car shows, taking pics of cowl tags of 69's and looking at dates. Wonder who has the last one ?  LoL.

I kind of wondered that myself of the totals, as mine is in the 14000,s.

A bit of interest Clints  15480 subtract my 14730 = 750 cars in 13 days if you include weekends. Did they work weekends ?   About 57 Beaumonts a day. Not bad.
