It is a nice day in Hog Town today, September 22, Within minutes of one another I spotted two Pontiac convertibles near Eglinton and Laird in Leaside.
A mayfair maize 67 Parisenne, with black top and guts and a black 71/72 GTO (or nose job LeMans Sport, it had no emblems) with black top and tan guts. Both were good driver quality cars and both had aftermarket wheels.
You get out of the office? Must be nice! Irony aside as it's Mr. Millers don't drive your car day today. In anticipation I drove the El C to work today.
Yes indeed, I plan on driving all 4 today in protest and in spite of our Mayor. I will leave the ranting to Astro Jet. Got the new BFG Long Trail TA's mount on the Sub today so had to drive to the shop to pick it up.
With this nice weather I just had to go to the beach on my lunch hour. Driving back I saw a '57 Pontiac in a parking lot. Couldn't make out the model but with the knowledge that Big Ray taught me I determined it to be a Canadian car!
Well we met the owner of the mayfair maize Parisienne at last nights local cruise at Route 66. It is a three owner 283 PG car in pretty decent survivor condition. Really super guy too from down east, Moncton! You won't believe it but he once owned C2's Strato Chief and raced it a Cayuga, pretty much taking on all comers with consistent 13.3 runs. He sold the car to Andy in Moncton who let it go to our beloved Carl! We encouraged him to sign up and participate on board, he was a very informed Canadian Poncho guy. On top of this he owns two Cadillacs ! My kind of guy.

Anyone know them?

Was that 72 parked on the south side of Eglinton just west of Laird? I have seen it there many times over the years. I am pretty sure it is a Lemans with the T41 option and a 350 car; it's got no GTO markings.

I have to sell the 250 decals I have left. 600 members, only 15 takers
WHAAAT? C'mon guys, they are only 5 bucks each, support Todd and get the word out about the site! I even bought extras in anticpation of adding more Canadian Ponchos to my fleet, gotta be ready to show the colours!
I've only worn my T to 2 shows and it has already garnered lots of comments and hopefully will generate a few more members on here.

______________________________________________ Ya, I thought it was a nose job car but with no markings I didn't want to say for sure.
I brought the T/A to work today. It's sporting it's sticker in the window. And i also wore my T. I even handed out at least one business card on the weekend
