Thats what I'm thinking, I don't really need it, but its a cool looking car(its lowered and I'm a sucker for a lowered car). Original 194, 2speed auto in it too, might be better on fuel than my biscayne, and definatly better than my wagon...LOL

I find when I don't really need it....That's when I get the best deal. A 4 door is not on alot of guys have to have. A buddy had the same car that was handed down to him. A blue 4 door that he stuffed a V8 into and you couldn't even move it without spinning those stock rims with hubcaps.
the other one I'm interested in is a 1968 Strato Chief wagon, that guy is thinking around $1500, and its in super nice condition. 327, auto and the body is real nice. But its a waiting game with him, someone told him that because its a 327, its a corvette motor. His is a 2bbl, and nothing fancy, it in a plain jain wagon.

If your looking at a wagon for a winter beater, you should be looking at a 70's Toyota I just seen on the news last night that all these greedy Ah**es that run the stockmarket have been losing their shirts have put the rest of their money in oil. Putting it at $120 a barrel for no reason, but saving their own ass and doing in the rest of the country.

Is there such a thing as a 1970's Toyota? I thought they were all piles of rust by now? Same as the 70's Hondas and Datsuns!

The 63 Acadian is coming back home to me in a few weeks. I made a deal with my bro and got the old Canso back. I checked the odometer it is at 36,600. Car was never left outside and was in storage for over 25 years. The original owner never drove much between 63 and 82 when she traded in back in.
Hi Todd. Sure will let you know. It's a hard car to resist because of the "cuteness" factor. The interior really knocks people out.I have the original documents here at the house, come have a look. It really needs a good cleaning on the chassis and oiling up.
